Fun in the studio…It’s already hot in here (clothes already removed)…I’m trying to re-learn the gee-tar
Wish I took more pictures for you guys when we were at the studio, but
my digital camera sucks, and all my videos came out pretty terribly.
The album is SOOOOO close to done I can taste it, but we still have a
bit to go before everyone else can hear it.
We’re looking over the
artwork for the album now, mixing and mastering, and all that fun
stuff. I’m awake at 2:20am tonight because it’s 90 degrees in my
airconditioned apartment. My dog, Fritz, and my two little kitties Turn
and River are dying in the heat, as well. I love the hot weather, but I
wish my AC was cooling down my room a little better. It’s even hotter
in the rooms without air conditioning. I got my guitar restrung, and
I’m hoping to figure out how to play it again. I can butcher a few
chords, and that’s about it. Not that I could contribute a ton on an
acoustic into our music, but you never know with us! I’m sure if I came
up with a good enough riff we could use it in a song or two. In
college, I played guitar in the subways, and made about $20 an hour
doing it. It was a lot of fun. I won’t be going back into the subways
to play, but it would be cool to play a couple of open mic nights or
something like that. I think it’s just that I’m getting the itch to be
on stage again, and karaoke isn’t cutting it! LOL Alright, gonna try to
sleep.
