So, you might have noticied that our internet presence has been pretty quiet for about 2 weeks. I take care of most of that, so if we seem to be “quiet” it’s because something happened to me.
On Wednesday, 5/20, morning I enetered the emergency room of New York Weill/Cornell with shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing all night long.
I have a history of heart issues and open hert surgeries – you can read about them on my blog – IhaveMarfan.com
Turns out that one of my leaflets inside of my mitral valve had teared ( go into more detail on my blog). So, I had emergency surgery on Tuesday, 5/26. It is caled “Minimally Invasive Surgery” because they don’t break any bones, but they do collapse my lungs, and go into my heart.
Now I’m back home and recuperating. They had to spread my ribs in my right side a bit, so thos muscles are sore, which means playing guitar is going to take a bit to get back into. Also, climbing up stairs to et to my computer is a little difficult right now, but should be getting better ver the coming weeks.
We will be working on a press release about this, as our album is currently on Itunes, and will be in stores extremely soon, so we wanted to get to playing shows again… but that has to be on hold until I’m up and runnig at full speed.
